Rane PE 17

Advances the features and performance of the PE 15.

Like the PE 15, the Rane PE 17 Parametric EQ is a single-channel, five-band device of incredible versatility. The Rane PE 17 incorporates all the required features of a parametric equalizer and full-function notch filter set. Each of its five filters covers a center frequency range of 4 octaves, a bandwidth of .03 to 1.5 octaves, and a boost/cut range of +15dB to -20dB. Bands one and five switch to allow peaking or shelving characteristics. All parameters are completely independent. In addition to these PE 15 features, the PE 17 adds separate in and out gain controls, sweepable low- and high-cut filters, 100% overlapping bands with improved dynamic range and noise performance. Residual noise is below levels required by digital recording equipment, making the PE 17 ideally suited for all critical digital audio studio, sound reinforcement, and broadcast applications.
